“I completed TRU Community Care’s 4-week and 8-week grief groups in the Spring of 2018 after the unexpected passing of my sister and brother-in-law earlier in 2017. My sister was my best friend in the whole world, and I knew I needed additional support to offset the burden of my grief on my family. When I reached out to TRU Grief Services, I was comforted by how calming and supportive Reta was as she walked me through all of the available Grief Services options.
The grief groups provided a place for me to navigate my feelings and be accepted without judgment. After completing both programs, I continue to meet with members of one of the groups every month. Inevitably, they have become my friends on a deep level. My advice to anyone thinking about TRU Grief Services is to at least give it a try. It’s not always easy, but every minute counts and it is 100% worth your time.”
