This year marks a major milestone for TRU Community Care, founded in 1976 as Boulder County Hospice, the first hospice in Colorado. And it all began in 1976, when one of our founders was asked, Have you ever thought about starting a hospice? It’s our 40th Anniversary, and we are proud that our organization has been caring for those who are dying and their families for four incredible decades. In celebration, we’re planning some exciting 40th Anniversary events throughout the year.
While our organization has grown from 5 founding employees to now over 100 strong, our commitment to hospice and serving our community has remained the same. We invite you to join in the celebration of our 40 years of services by participating in our 40 for 40 Campaign. Our goal is to raise $40,000 this year and with your help we can! You are also invited to attend our 40th Anniversary Celebration on Sunday, June 26th from 2 to 5 p.m. At our new PACE facility (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) 2593 Park Lane in Lafayette.
